Description
Le Chêne Blanc (White Oak) is a farming business specialising in the rearing of goats, milk production and cheesemaking. It is at Pougne-Hérisson and keeps clients from the surrounding villages happy as well as selling the cheeses in Parthenay and Niort. We have thirty years' experience in raising goats and milking them. Since 2014 we have turned more than 15,000 litres of milk into cheese and yoghurt on the farm. Which makes us one of the few genuine farmer-producers in the area. Cheese-lovers relish our unpasteurised milk products, for example our fresh cheese, or the matures, ash rolled or spiced. They come in all shapes and sizes, pyramids, logs, blocks.... don't forget to ask for our cheeses for aperitif (which can be natural or spiced) And how about our "Garlic and Herb Fluff" (drained fromage frais with added garlic and classic herbs) Let yourself be tempted by all the delicious natural flavours of our range!!
